Tourism Director
Harlan County, Nebraska, is currently taking applications for the next Harlan County Tourism Director. This is a part-time position, working hours vary with some evening and weekend work, must be flexible with hours. Bachelor’s Degree or significant college credit hours preferred; experience in related fields considered. Web design and/or grant writing experience is also desired. Looking for someone who understands the role of destination marketing, hospitality and business development and will work to improve the economic impact of tourism in Harlan County. Tourism director works with the County Tourism board to promote existing events and to organize new events to bring visitors to Harlan County. This is a salaried rather than hourly position but is considered approximately quarter time, with flexible scheduling and the ability to do much of the work from home.
