NOTICE OF BOARD OF SUPERVISORS’ MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Harlan County Board will hold its regular meeting every other first and third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. unless there is a holiday, then the meeting will be held on the next day of business at 9:30 a.m.  The meetings will be held on the following dates for 2026:

August 4 & 18; September 1 & 15; October 6 & 20; November 3 & 17; December 1 & 15.

As the need arises, the Board of Supervisors will recess its regular session and convene as the Board of Equalization.

All meetings are held on the main floor of the Courthouse (706 2^nd Street, Alma Nebraska), in the county meeting room, and are open to the public.

The method designated by the Harlan County Board to provide reasonable advance publicized notice will be published in the Harlan County Journal. In case of refusal, neglect, or inability of the newspaper to publish the notice, the Harlan County Board will post such notice on its website, request the newspaper submit a post on a statewide website and post such notice in a conspicuous public place in Harlan Counties jurisdiction.

Agendas for such meetings, kept continuously current, are available for public inspection at the office of the County Clerk and on the website; however, the Board may modify the agendas at such meetings.  (View agenda and Board minutes on Harlan County web site: www.harlancounty.ne.gov)
