Full-Time Dispatcher/Jailer

The Harlan County Sheriff’s Office has an immediate opening for a Dispatcher/Jailer. This is a full-time position with complete county benefits. Applicants must be 19 years of age and have a high school diploma or GED. The job requires 12-hour shifts. Shifts will be nights, although some rotation of shifts may occur. The schedule allows for every other weekend off. Our jail is a 4-bed facility. Applicant must be able to pass a criminal history background check and be able to complete required training courses within the first year of employment.
