Dual Certification Process Effective Dates
Effective December 22, 2001 the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Child Support Enforcement (CSE) is responsible for certification of child support records on all payments made after December 21, 2001.
HHS Judgment Responsibilities:
- Certification of Arrears
- Provide Copies of pay records
- Testify to the payment process (a subpoena is necessary)
- Child Support
- Spousal Support or Maintenance (When ordered in conjunction with a child support order)
- Medical Support
- Genetic Testing
- Medical Reimbursement
- Grant Reimbursement
- It Should Be Noted That In Nebraska There Is A Dual Certification Process
